Hour of Code
We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works.
But only a tiny fraction of us are learning how technology works. While many US Public Schools are teaching computer programming, it is not present at many of the overseas schools where American Foreign Service and Military kids attend.
That’s why Twiga Tutors is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 3-9). More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code. This will be the FIRST EVER Hour of Code designed for American Foreign Service and Military kids based worldwide. It will be led by our certified American teacher, Emily Batson. She is trained to teach computer programming to kids and excited to share her passion!
Participation is 100% FREE! For Grades K-12. Deadline to enroll is November 30th, 2018.
